Injuries, Weather Impact TT Qualifying

After the disappointment of Monday evening’s session being cancelled, riders were back out on the course on Tuesday for the Isle of Man TT Races, fueled by Monster Energy. But with strong winds and squally showers, the decision was made to make the session untimed, so deteriorating conditions on the Isle of Man resulted in the sidecars missing out completely.

After Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship 450 Class points leader Eli Tomac pushed his undefeated record to five motos before crashing out of the lead in Saturday’s second moto, Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey took advantage of the opportunity to earn his first overall win of the season at Thunder Valley MX Park.

Qualifying for the 2015 Isle of Man TT Races, fuelled by Monster Energy, got underway on Saturday evening and although weather conditions meant the F2 sidecars failed to get out on track, the Lightweight class got a full session under their belts with Ryan Farquhar leading the way at 117.12 mph.
