History Favors Myers At Bowman Gray

Bowman Gray Stadium celebrated its historic 1000th event on Saturday, and it was fitting for the checkered that night to belong to Burt Myers – a man whose family has been active competitors at the stadium since its early days.

VanDyke Inherits Seventh Kingsport Victory

Kres VanDyke and Zeke Shell battled throughout the First Kingsport Credit Union Late Model feature Friday at Kingsport Speedway, with Shell finally getting past VanDyke to take the lead 16 laps from the finish. Shell took the checkered flag for his third victory of the season, but following post-race technical inspection he was disqualified, thus moving VanDyke up one finishing position to give him his seventh win of the season.
