But Michael Shank Racing defied the odds, as driver Oswaldo Negri Jr. dominated Prototype qualifying on Thursday for the 2015 Rolex 24 at Daytona with a blistering lap of 1 minute, 39.194 seconds, and 129.201 mph.

Multimatic Motorsports captured its third consecutive Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge TOTAL Pole Award at Daytona Int’l Speedway in qualifying for Friday’s BMW Performance 200, with veteran Scott Maxwell running a lap of 1:56:520 (109.990 mph) in the No. 15 Ford Mustang Boss 302R.
