The Winter Showdown 250, slated for Feb. 28 at Kern County Raceway Park, is already one of the nation’s richest short-track events, but the event’s prize list increased again with the addition of a $2,000 cash award to the event’s fast qualifier and a $2,000 award to the first driver who doesn’t make the cut in the Winter Showdown Last Chance Qualifier.
