Ten Races For SPEARS Southwest Tour

The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series will visit seven tracks for 10 races in 2015, including the inaugural Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway Park that will pay a record $25,000 to the race winner.

David Gilliland Racing is capping its successful 2014 season with the announcement of an expansion. The Mooresville, N.C.-based team now offers a driver development program that will field a second car for the 2015 season in Late Model and Super Late Model competition.

DuroByte Motorsports is looking ahead to the future with their Driver Development program. With Dominique Van Wieringen moving on to NEMCO Motorsports with Joe and John Hunter Nemechek, who just won the 47th annual Snowball Derby, DuroByte was left with a void in the primary seat in their stable. That hole was filled with the addition of 16-year-old Kody Evans.
