11 Events For NCRA Modifieds
PARK CITY, Kan. – Eleven events consisting of three different states and seven different venues dot the 2013 race schedule for the National Championship Racing Ass’n presented by Precise Racing Products modified division the series announced early last week.
The 16th consecutive season for the tour is set to kick off with a huge two-day Precise Racing Products/Hoosier Daddy “Spring Scramble” show set for Friday and Saturday night, April 5-6 at 81 Speedway with the Saturday night championship finale paying a huge $5,000 to the winner. More details on this event will be released in the forthcoming days.
For the first time in at least six years, Mid-America Speedway in South Coffeyville, Okla., will host the tour on Saturday night of the Memorial Day holiday weekend, May 25th.
Then it will be on to the annual “Hoosier Daddy/Bill Hall Memorial” on Father’s Day Sunday, June 16 at 81 Speedway in Park City. The series late model and 360 divisions will also be on the racing card.
Independence Day holiday will see the tour make a stop at “The Hummer,” Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan., on Wednesday night, July 3 before taking a night off and heading to the famed Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kan., on Friday night, July 5.
Next up will be the two day O’Reilly Auto Parts 57th Annual Hutchinson Grand National Auto Races Presented by Midwest Ford Toyota will take place on Friday and Saturday night, July 12-13 at the famed Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kan..
After a very successful inaugural trip last year it will be back to the “I-40 Challenge” as the tour will head to Elk City Speedway in Elk City, Okla., on Friday night, Aug. 16 before heading further west to Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas on Saturday night.
Labor Day weekend will see two events on the holiday weekend, opening at 81 Speedway on Saturday night, Aug. 31 before their final appearance of the season back at the High Banks in Belleville on Sunday night, Sept. 1.
The sixteenth season will officially come to a conclusion on Saturday night, Oct. 5.
