NCRA Sets Inaugural Mod-Lite Schedule
PARK CITY, Kan. – The National Championship Racing Ass’n presented By Precise Racing Products has released the 2013 race schedule for the inaugural season of the mod-lite division, which will become the sixth racing division the series will sanction for the season.
Each mod-lite event will pay $500 to win and $100 to start the feature finale. As we go to press there are currently five races slated covering three states at four different venues.
It all kicks off on Saturday night, March 30 at the home of the series, 81 Speedway in Park City. This will be the support division for the huge NCRA 360 sprint car season opener that pays $5,000 to win.
Then on Friday night, May 31 the tour heads to Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo., and will be the first race ever held under the NCRA banner at the facility.
On Saturday night, June 15 the tour will make a trip to Mid-American Speedway in South Coffeyville, Okla., before heading to the famed Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kan., on Sunday night, Sept. 1. Never fear drivers, you will compete on the smaller quarter mile oval.
The inaugural season for the tour is scheduled to conclude on Saturday night, Sept. 28 back at 81 Speedway.
