Rain Creates Texas Doubleheader

FORT WORTH, Texas — Friday’s heats and qualifying rounds of the Port-a-Cool® U.S. National Dirt Track Championship at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track were postponed until Saturday morning due to inclement weather.

Saturday will serve as a racing doubleheader with Friday’s scheduled activities beginning at 9 a.m. CT and running throughout the entire day. Barring any additional delays, the Saturday evening schedule is expected to begin with opening ceremonies at 6:15 p.m.

The gates will open at 9 a.m. and practice for the Limited Modifieds and Modifieds will take place promptly after. Opening ceremonies will begin at 9:45 a.m. with Limited Modifieds and Modifieds heats and qualifying rounds ensuing thereafter. For competitors, credentials and the pit area will be open at 7 a.m.
