Lucas Late Models Set Bonus Programs

WAYCROSS, Ga. – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are excited to announce two bonus programs within the series for the 2013 season.

Racers that follow the series and maintain perfect attendance in 2013 will have a chance to earn two $10,000 cash bonuses.

The ASi Racewear Crown Jewel Cup presented by www.DirtonDirt.com will give racers an opportunity to win a $10,000 cash bonus at this years awards banquet. This unique program put together by Gene Ullman of ASi Racewear and Michael Rigsby of www.DirtonDirt.com in association with the LOLMDS will showcase the crown jewel events on the series schedule in 2013.

This $10,000 bonus program will be based on nine (9) crown jewel events within the LOLMDS schedule in 2013. The driver that earns the most points in these nine (9) events will be awarded a $10,000 cash bonus at this years awards banquet.

The nine crown jewel events within the series schedule that will post a separate points category and will include: The $30,000 to win Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com, Lucas Oil Speedway on May 23-25, The $20,000 to win Clash at the Mag, Magnolia Motor Speedway, June 14-15, The $27,000 to win Silver Dollar Nationals, I-80 Speedway, July 18-20, The $50,000 to win Sunoco North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil, Florence Speedway, Aug 8-10, The $40,000 to win COMP Cams Topless 100, Batesville Motor Speedway, Aug 15-17, The $25,000 to win Hillbilly Hundred, I-77 Speedway, Sept 1, The $20,000 to win Jackson 100, Brownstown Speedway, Sept 20-21, The $40,000 to win Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals, Knoxville Raceway, Sept 26-28, and the season finale $50,000 to win RED BUCK Dirt Track World Championship featuring Borrowed Blue, Portsmouth Raceway Park, Oct 18-19.

SWEET Mfg. and E3 Spark Plugs will sponsor a second $10,000 bonus money program for the racers that follow the series in 2013. The SWEET Mfg TV Challenge presented by E3 Spark Plugs will award points to drivers at the TV races on the schedule in 2013. The driver that earns the most points at the TV races will be awarded a cash award of $10,000 for 1st, $2,500 for 2nd and $1,500 for 3rd based on the final SWEET Mfg. TV Challenge Points Standings presented by E3 Spark Plugs.

The TV races within this points category will include the $30,000 to win Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com, Lucas Oil Speedway on May 23-25, The $20,000 to win Optima Batteries Clash at the Mag, Magnolia Motor Speedway, June 14-15, The $10,000 to win General Tire Battle on the Beach presented by GEICO, Tri-City Speedway, July 12, The $10,000 to win E3 Spark Plugs Diamond Nationals, presented by General Tire, Lucas Oil Speedway, July 13, The $50,000 to win Sunoco North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil, Florence Speedway, Aug 8-10, The $40,000 to win COMP Cams Topless 100 presented by Lucas Oil, Batesville Motor Speedway, Aug 15-17, The $10,000 to win GEICO Whiskey 50 presented by Hoosier Tire, Lawrenceburg Speedway, Aug 24, The $40,000 to win Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals, Knoxville Raceway, Sept 26-28, The $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Dixie Shootout, Dixie Speedway, Oct 5 and the season finale $50,000 to win RED BUCK Dirt Track World Championship featuring Borrowed Blue, Portsmouth Raceway Park, Oct 18-19.

Randy Sweet of SWEET Mfg and Steve Joiner of E3 Spark Plugs have partnered to provide the racers additional bonus money to race for when competing in front of the Lucas Oil Studios TV cameras in 2013. Lucas Oil Products is committed to bringing the stars and cars of the LOLMDS to several TV networks again in 2013. The SWEET Mfg TV Challenge presented by E3 Spark Plugs will help showcase the personalities of the series stars as they battle for the bonus money in 2013.
