$12,000 Jetmore Prize To Phillips

JETMORE, Kan. — Terry Phillips won the Showdown at the Great American Dirt Track Saturday night.
Ninth-starting Phillips took the lead from polesitter Gary Christian on lap 12 of the 50-lap dirt late model race and never looked back. Phillips win was worth $12,000 and his 79th career-win with the MARS series.
Tony Jackson Jr. finished second to Phillips and picked up $5,000, the richest of his late model career.
Ricky Thornton Jr., John Anderson and Morgan Bagley rounded out the top five.
