MAQUOKETA, Iowa – It was another perfect night for the Brinkman Motorsports team and driver Chad Simpson at Jackson County Speedway as he started on the pole and drove his Mastersbilt Hot Rod to his second win in two nights for the Hawkeye Sweep.

There was plenty of action on the fast quarter-mile dirt oval with racing door handle to door handle throughout the field. Nothing was more exciting for the local home crowd then watching Justin Kay and the Orange Kay Farms special work the traffic and storm toward the front. Kay started 10th and finished second behind Chad Simpson.

Jake Meier put in another good run in the “Cool Blue” No. 20 for third with Denny Eckrich and Chris Simpson rounding out the top five.

In the Sport Mod feature Justin Kay’s Dad Ricky won the race making a great night for the family as they honored Dusty Kay.

The finish:

Chad Simpson, Justin Kay, Jake Meier, Denny Eckrich, Chris Simpson, Jason Jaggers, Matt Ryan, Dave Eckrich, Terry Neal, Rick Wendling, Pete Parker, Matt Furman, Justin Mitchell, Brad Stewart, Mike Fryer, Greg Wagner, Wayne Brau, Marty Sheckek, Todd Alexander, Lyle Zanker, Stephan Kammerer, Jon Rogers, Brian Beaudry.
