McCool Stops Moyer In Pelican 100

VIVIAN, La. — Mississippi racer Bub McCool held off veteran Billy Moyer to claim the $10,000 victory in the Pelican 100 dirt late model race at Ark-La-Tex Speedway Saturday night.
McCool kept at Moyer at bay on the quarter-mile dirt track during the closing laps and claimed a solid early season payday.
Terry Phillips finished third with Don O’Neal and Chris Wall completing the top five.
