Schrader Sails At Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader captured his first DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals win of 2012 on Tuesday night at Jacksonville Speedway worth $700.

Schrader raced to the lead on the opening lap and held off a challenge from Lance Dehm before mechanical woes forced Dehm pitside.

Schrader then would be challenged by Brian Lynn before pulling away for the victory. Lynn finished second with previous night winner Ray Bollinger in third.

Matt Goulden finished fourth and Jake Griffin rounded out the top five.

The DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals returns to action Wednesday night at LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway for a $1,000-to-win event.
