Wallace Rules East Bay In The Afternoon

Kenny Wallace won the Saturday afternoon portion of the UMP modified Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park.
GIBSONTON, Fla. — The UMP/EBRP Open Wheel Modifieds resumed with the remainder of Friday’s show on Saturday afternoon with NASCAR racing veteran Kenny Wallace taking top honors.
Wallace took the lead on the start and led throughout 25 laps of the third-mile oval, beating Bart Hartman to the checkered flag by 1.658 seconds.
It was Wallace’s first victory since Feb. 4, 2010.
Hartman came home second ahead of Rodney Wing, Jeff Mathews and Devin Dixon.
Jimmy Wills won the Mod Lite feature.
