New Crew Chief For Bob Tasca III

CRANSTON, R.I. – Team Tasca has given Mark Denner, co-crew chief since 2009, full responsibility for the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Shelby Mustang Funny Car, effective immediately.

Chris Cunningham, the team’s other co-crew chief, has been released.

“Chris has been with our team for more than six years and I wish him the best of luck,” said team owner/driver Bob Tasca III. “Recent results on the track, however, have shown that we need to take the team in a different direction.

“Mark has been with our team for many years,” said Tasca. “I have full confidence in Mark.”

The Denner-led Team Tasca will debut at the next stop of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Summer Nationals at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga., May 16-18.
