Rocky Footwear Joins DSR & Hagan
BROWNSBURG, Ind. – Rocky Footwear & Apparel will have the ideal person representing the world leader in outdoor and occupational footwear when the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series opens in February.
Don Schumacher Racing and Rocky have announced a multiyear sponsorship that will feature 2011 NHRA Funny Car champion Matt Hagan beginning with the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.
What makes Hagan a perfect match with Rocky is the 30-year-old father of two is a cattle farmer in Christiansburg, Va. He knows the importance of reliable, rugged footwear and clothing when he’s working on his 1,000-acre spread and appreciates the casual comfort of Rocky western footwear.
“I can’t imagine having a more perfect sponsor,” Hagan said. “I’ve been using Rocky products for years when I’m hunting and working on the farm. And Rocky boots makes me look good when I go out on the town with my family.”
Rocky Footwear & Apparel is headquartered in Nelsonville, Ohio, where its South Eastern Ohio corporate office and distribution center are located.

Rocky will be on Hagan’s Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car at each of 24 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events in 2013 and featured on Hagan’s car for three primary NHRA events beginning at the April 26-28 NHRA Springnationals near Houston.
