DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The American Speed Ass’n Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power Equipment has announced that 12 of the 15 spots for the 2008 Touring Stars program have been filled.
The Touring Stars program is a bonus program for those who compete in all of the ASAMT events. The 12 set drivers for the 2008 schedule were selected due to their overall finish in the 2007  standings and who have committed to running the full 2008 ASAMT schedule.
Completion of the season opener will allow for the top finishing rookie and the two drivers highest in points and not already part of the program, to fill the remaining three positions.
