INDIANAPOLIS — The traditional USAC Silver Crown Series event, TourHendricksCounty.com 100, will take place in conjunction with the Kroger SpeedFest at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis July 24.
Running at the track annually since 1985, the series has raced the new-generation pavement cars during the past two seasons. However, due to re-evaluation of the cars, USAC will return to the traditional cars this year. Also competing Thursday night will be the USAC Midget Series in the Toyota Challenge Racing Classic.
The weekend will also host the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series July 25 and conclude with the Kroger 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series event, which benefits the Riley Hospital for Children, on July 26. Tickets for all events go on sale March 18.
