USCS Veteran Racer Dead At 47

ATLANTA — Veteran United Sprint Car Series driver Randy Helton died suddenly on Sunday morning.
Known as The Big Dog, the 47-year-old Helton suffered a massive heart attack. Originally from Memphis, Tenn., Helton finished fourth in the USCS standings in 2007 and his best career finish was second at Dixie Speedway in August of 2007.
A graveside service was scheduled for April 2 at Holly Hill Cemetary in Fairburn, Ga.
