No. 21 Moyer Victory Circle Late Model
Moyer’s attempt for a record-tying fourth-straight World of Outlaws Late Model Series victory fell short at Virginia Motor Speedway with a 17th-place finish precipitated by a late flat tire. Pit miscues landed Edwards at the rear of the field, but he drove to a fourth-place finish in Sprint Cup and was second in NNS action.

3. Jeff Burton

Burton held on to his Sprint Cup point lead with a steady sixth-place finish at Phoenix. He finished a disappointing 31st on Friday.

No. 18 Toyotas, NASCAR Sprint Cup/Nationwide Series
Busch followed up a Nationwide Series victory with a 10th-place performance in Cup action Saturday at Phoenix.

In the early going of the Formula One season, Raikkonen is poised to defend his World Driving Championship.

6. Jason Meyers

No. 14 KPC Sprint Car, World of Outlaws
Meyers followed up a victory at I-55 Raceway with an eighth-place finish this past weekend at Eldora Speedway in Ohio.

7. Tony Schumacher

U.S. Army Top Fuel Dragster, NHRA Top Fuel
Schumacher was ousted in the quarterfinals for the second-straight event, this time with questions about illegal fuel found in his pits.

8. Scott Pruett/Memo Rojas

No. 01 Telmex Ganassi Lexus Riley, Grand Am
Chip Ganassi’s Grand Am Rolex Series duo is two-for-two this season with victories at Daytona and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

9. Timo Bernhard/Romain Dumas

No. 7 DHL Penske Porsche, American Le Mans Series
The Penske Porsches will get back on the track this weekend, at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

10. Helio Castroneves

No. 3 Team Penske, Dallara-Honda, IndyCar Series
Castroneves has yet to be out of the top five in two races this season and is in search of his first victory this weekend at Twin Ring Motegi.

Honorable Mention
Craig Dollansky is on top of the WoO standings with an exclamation point after his Eldora victory this past weekend... Kody Swanson earned the first USAC midget victory of his career.

Last Week
Billy Moyer stays on top despite a rare finish outside the top 10. Jeff Burton, Kyle Busch and Kimi Raikkonen move up, while Jason Meyers and Tony Schumacher slip in this week’s rankings.

Jason meyers, did an engine change before qualifying, qualified last because he missed his spot in the order and his time was still 2nd quick, rules state he could not qualify better than 17th. Started 6th in his heat ran 2nd, leading the dash coming in for the checkard blew a Right rear, starts 8th in the feature moves to 6th, blows another right rear (debris on track, 4 otother blown tires)goes to 25th and comes back to 8th, incredible run and team effort.Thank you for your great publication and support of our sport.
Sincerely,
Chris Luck
