No. 15 J&J Sprint Car, World of Outlaws
Schatz was in North Carolina to announce Armor All will sponsor the Tony Stewart Racing car he will drive next season.
He flew across the country and earned his third-consecutive World of Outlaws triumph, his 19th of the season, Saturday at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif.

2. Jeff Gordon
No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, Nextel Cup Series
Gordon earned his second-consecutive victory and extended his point lead with five races remaining in The Chase.

3. Dave Connolly
Torco Chevrolet Cobalt, NHRA Pro Stock
Connolly will take a five-race winning streak into the next event Oct. 25-28 at The Strip @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

4. Dario Franchitti
No. 27 Canadian Club Honda, IndyCar Series
The IndyCar Series champion is scheduled for his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut Saturday at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

5. Jimmie Johnson
No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet, Nextel Cup Series
Johnson faded to a 14th-place finish at Lowe’s Motor Speedway but still ranks second in The Chase standings.

6. Jon Fogarty/Alex Gurney
No. 99 Gainsco Pontiac, Grand Am Rolex Series
Having set a record for victories and grabbed their first series championship, the season is over for Fogarty and Gurney.

7. Lewis Hamilton
No. 2 McLaren Mercedes, Formula One
Hamilton hopes to hold off teammate Fernando Alonso and clinch the championship in Sunday’s season-ending Grand Prix of Brazil.

8. Sebastien Bourdais
No. 1 McDonald’s Panoz, Champ Car World Series
After a long layoff, Bourdais leads the Champ Car World Series back to the track this weekend at Surfers Paradise, Australia.

9. Joey Saldana
No. 9 JEI Sprint Car, World of Outlaws
Still second in the standings, Saldana finished ninth Saturday night at Thunderbowl Raceway in California.

10. Chris Perley
No. 11 Supermodified, ISMA
Perley clinched his fourth ISMA supermodified championship with his record-setting 11th triumph of the season.

Honorable Mention

World of Outlaws Late Model Series point-leader Steve Francis picked up $20,000 at Volunteer Speedway in Tennessee and closed in on his first series championship.

Last Week

Winning for the third-consecutive weekend, Donny Schatz remained atop the NSSN Power Rankings for the third-straight week, edging fast-closing Jeff Gordon.
