No. 1 Kyle Busch

Nos. 18/51 Toyotas, NASCAR Sprint Cup/Nationwide/Craftsman Truck Series
Busch earned victories in both the Sprint Cup — Toyota’s first — and the Craftsman Truck series over the weekend in Atlanta. The ever-busy Busch, who has won consecutive NCTS races, now leads the championship standings in both of those series and is third in the Nationwide Series.


2. Billy Moyer

No. 21 Moyer Victory Circle Late Model
Moyer is hoping his early season momentum carries over after six February victories and a dozen top fives in 18 starts.

3. Carl Edwards

Nos. 99/60  Fords, NASCAR Sprint Cup/Nationwide Series
After successive Sprint Cup victories at California and Las Vegas, the No. 99 blew an engine early at Atlanta.

4. Jason Meyers

No. 14 KPC Sprint Car, World of Outlaws
Momentum is still on the side of Jason Meyers, who picked up his third victory of the season and his second-career Mini Gold Cup.

5. Tony Schumacher

U.S. Army Dragster, NHRA Top Fuel
Schumacher will continue his quest for a fifth-straight Top Fuel title this weekend at the Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla.

6. Donny Schatz

No. 15 J&J Sprint Car, World of Outlaws
Like most of the WoO, Schatz remained idle this past weekend and will not return to the track until early April.

7. Alex Gurney/Jon Fogarty

No. 99 Gainsco Pontiac, Grand Am
The defending Grand Am champs are still awaiting a return to competition, which is now only two weeks away at Homestead-Miami, Fla.

8. Kimi Raikkonen

No. 1 Ferrari, Formula One
The World Driving Champion will begin the defense of his title this weekend at the Australian Grand Prix.

9. Ryan Newman

No. 12 Alltel Dodge, NASCAR Sprint Cup
The Daytona 500 winner has yet to finish out of the top 15 this season. He was 14th at Atlanta this past weekend.

10. Tony Stewart

No. 20 Toyotas, NASCAR Sprint Cup/Nationwide Series
Stewart followed teammate Kyle Busch to the line in Atlanta, his second top-five finish of the year to go with two Nationwide victories.


Honorable Mention

Danny Sheridan shook off early-season woes for a USAC-CRA sprint-car victory at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway... Brian Vickers drove the No. 84  Toyota into the top 10 at Atlanta and is now ninth in points.

Last Week

Kyle Busch moved up five spots to take over the top spot from Carl Edwards, who fell to third. Jason Meyers moved up two spots, ahead of WoO rival Donny Schatz, who fell two spots to sixth.
