1. Tony Schumacher

U.S Army Top Fuel Dragster, NHRA Top Fuel
The NHRA was idle this past weekend, but Schumacher has won two times in three events this season as he seeks his fifth-straight Top Fuel title. Schumacher will go for a third victory at this weekend’s Spring Nationals in Houston, Texas.

2. Billy Moyer

No. 21 Moyer Victory Circle Late Model
Moyer’s scheduled appearance at his hometown Batesville (Ark.) Motor Speedway was rained out this past weekend.

3. Kyle Busch

Nos. 18/20/51 Toyotas NASCAR Sprint/Nationwide/Craftsman Truck
Busch won the pole this past weekend at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway, but settled for a 16th-place finish.

4. Jason Meyers

No. 14 KPC Sprint Car, World of Outlaws
Meyers got out of his sprint car and into a USAC Midget race car for a third-place finish at Bakersfield (Calif.) Speedway.

5. Carl Edwards

Nos. 99/60 Fords, NASCAR Sprint Cup/Nationwide Series
Already a two-time winner in Sprint Cup, Edwards battled to a third-place finish this past weekend in Nationwide Series action at Nashville.

6. Donny Schatz

No. 15 J&J Sprint Car, World of Outlaws
Schatz remained idle this past weekend. He put together a string of five victories during early season racing in Florida.

7. Lewis Hamilton

No. 22 Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, Formula One
Hamilton was penalizedfive spots on the starting grid for impeding competitors during qualifying and finished fifth in Malaysia.

8. Alex Gurney/Jon Fogarty

No. 99 Gainsco Pontiac, Grand Am
The defending Grand Am champions, who were dominant a year ago, race again Saturday at Homestead-Miami.

9. Jeff Burton

No. 31 Chevrolet, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Burton helped hand RCR its first 1-2-3 finish a week ago at Bristol and now heads home to Virginia for Martinsville.

10. Kimi Raikkonen

No. 1 Ferrari, Formula One
After a disappointing 2008 debut at Australia, the defending World Driving Champion rebounded for a victory in Malaysia.


Honorable Mention
With the World of Outlaws on break, Danny Lasoski led a contingent with a victory and second-place finish with the American Sprint Cars on Tour this past weekend in Oklahoma City.

Last Week
The rankings remained the same except for the return of Kimi Raikkonen at No. 10. He replaced the Penske ALMS duo of Timo Bernard and Romain Dumas, who will no doubt return to the rankings.
