No. 1 Kyle Busch
No. 18 Toyotas, NASCAR Sprint Cup/Nationwide Series
With a third-place finish in the Nationwide Series and a second in Sprint Cup action at Richmond, Busch moved in the championship point lead in the Cup series. Busch has seven victories combined in NASCAR’s top three series this season, making him the busiest and most successful driver in NASCAR.
2. Kimi Raikkonen
No. 1 Ferrari, Formula One
It appears that Ferrari has returned to its dominant ways in Formula One behind two victories from the defending World Driving Champ.
3. Billy Moyer
No. 21 Moyer Victory Circle Late Model
Moyer went for a week without a visit to victory lane for one of the few times this season, but finished third in WoO action at I-44.
4. Carl Edwards
Nos. 99/60 Fords, NASCAR Sprint Cup/Nationwide Series
Edwards bounced back from a disastrous Talladega visit with a pair of seventh-place finishes, which included leading 126 NNS laps.
5. Scott Pruett/Memo Rojas
No. 01 Telmex Ganassi Lexus Riley, Grand Am
The season so far: Three victories in four races for the Ganassi duo and probation for rough driving for Rojas with Laguna Seca coming up.
6. Jeff Burton
No. 31 Chevrolet, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Burton has failed to qualify well the past two weeks and has been outside the top 10 with a 12th at Talladega and an 11th at Richmond.
7. Tim Wilkerson
Levi, Ray & Shoup Chevy Impala SS Funny Car, NHRA
Wilkerson picked up his second finals victory of the season, his second in three weeks and his first at his hometown St. Louis strip.
8. Helio Castroneves
No. 3 Team Penske Dallara-Honda, IndyCar Series
The consistent Castroneves has not been outside the top five this season and now heads for May at Indy, where he is a two-time winner.
9. Levi Jones
No. 20 Maxim Sprint Car, USAC Sprint Car Series
The two-time USAC National Sprint Car Series champion earned his first victory of the season. He now has four top-10 finishes in five races.
10. Donny Schatz
No. 15 J&J Sprint Car, World of Outlaws
The defending WoO champion finally got to victory lane for Tony Stewart Racing and now has a win and a second in his last two races.
Honorable Mention
Teen phenom Joey Logano dominated the Carolina 500 in his ARCA RE/MAX debut. Logano turns 18 in a couple of weeks and expects to make his Nationwide Series debut at Dover.
Last Week
Levi Jones and Tim Wilkerson debut in the rankings, while Donny Schatz returns at No. 10. Kyle Busch remains at the top while Kimi Raikkonen vaults to No. 2 ahead of Billy Moyer.
