Through The Lens: Jeff Shepard
Though he no longer races with a traveling series, Jeff Shepard remains one of the country’s best winged-sprint-car pilots.
The 36-year-old Maryland native raced regularly on the Central Pennsylvania circuit this season, driving the familiar Zemco No. 1. A threat to win every time he races, Shepard proved that, winning a preliminary feature during the Knoxville Nationals in August.
Shepard, who has won four World of Outlaws features and numerous events with the All Star Circuit of Champions, races sparingly as he devotes much of his time to his construction business.
Shepard owns seven feature victories at Williams Grove Speedway.
