Through The Lens: Robert Hight
He’s only been driving Funny Cars for three seasons, but Robert Hight has already made his mark on drag racing.
Hight, who worked on the John Force Racing crew for years and is married to John Force’s daughter Adria, began driving in 2005.
Hight, 38, won two races and the Auto Club of Southern California Road to the Future award in his rookie season.
The following year, he won three times and battled for the title until the final week of the season and this year won three more races before finishing 19 points behind Tony Pedregon in the race for the championship.
Hight has eight victories in 16 final-round appearances.
