Swedish racer Stefan Johansson enjoyed a successful racing career, which saw him become popular with racing fans around the world.
Now 51, Johansson calls Indianapolis home and owns a successful go-kart business there. He returned to full-time competition in the American Le Mans Series in 2007.
Johansson won the British Formula 3000 championship in 1980 and graduated to Formula One where he was a regular through the 1991 season. He made 103 Formula One starts, but never won a Grand Prix. He did finish on the podium 12 times.
