Hamilton Quick In Hungary

BUDAPEST, Hungary — Rain or shine, it didn’t matter. Lewis Hamilton’s McLaren was still the fastest car on the track during the first day of practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring.
Hamilton led both practice sessions on Friday, turning a best lap of one minute and 22.821 seconds in the first session, which bested his McLaren teammate Jenson Button by .101 second.
Hamilton was slightly quicker in the second session with a lap of 1:21.995 seconds before rain hit late in the session. Kimi Raikkonen was second quick in his Lotus-Renault.
Williams’ Bruno Senna ended up third in the second session with Ferrari drivers Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso completing the top five.
