Hamilton & Rosberg Speed In Austria

SPIELBERG, Austria – The Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg continued to show they are the dominant pair in Formula One competition this year by leading both practice sessions for the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring Friday.

Rosberg set the fastest time in the opening practice session of the day ahead of Hamilton, with Hamilton taking the top spot in the second session of the day. Hamilton’s lap in practice two (1:09.542) was the fastest of the day. Rosberg led the way in the first session with his best time of 1:11.295 and was second to Hamilton in the second session.

Fernando Alonso’s Ferrari was third fastest in both practice sessions. Felipe Massa put Williams fourth in the first practice session ahead of Jenson Button in fifth. The Williams duo of Valtteri Bottas and Massa were fourth and fifth fastest in the second session.

Sebastian Vettel was able to go sixth fastest for Red Bull Racing in the second session in Austria, which serves as a home game for the four-time defending World Constructors’ championship.
