It’s All Carlos Munoz In Indy Lights
LEEDS, Ala. — Carlos Munoz earned a dominant victory in Sunday’s Legacy Indy Lights 100 Firestone Indy Lights race at Barber Motorsports Park.
Munoz started on the pole and beat point-leader Jack Hawksworth to the checkered flag by 5.068 seconds in the 40-lap event on the 2.3-mile road course.
Driving for Andretti Autosport, Munoz was the class of the field throughout the weekend and held back Hawksworth, who had won the season opener at St. Petersburg, Fla.
Gabby Chaves finished third with Sage Karam and Jorge Goncalvez completing the top five.
