Andretti-HVM, Munoz Cited For Infraction
INDIANAPOLIS – IndyCar officials fined Andretti Autosport-HVM $2,000 on Friday for pit road violations during the April 27 Verizon IndyCar Series race at Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Ala.
Andretti-HVM, which fields the No. 34 Verizon IndyCar Series entry driven by Carlos Munoz, was found to have violated Rule 126.96.36.199 (Pit personnel not wearing proper attire) and Rule 188.8.131.52 (More than six crew members over the wall) of the Verizon IndyCar Series rulebook.
The team can appeal the penalty if it chooses.
