Hydroxycut Back With KVSH Racing
BARBER, Ala. – KVSH Racing announced today that its Indy 500 winning sponsor, Hydroxycut, has been named primary sponsor of the No. 11 entry piloted by four-time series champion Sebastien Bourdais for seven events during the 2014 Verizon IndyCar Series season.
In addition Hydroxycut will be the co-primary sponsor for the 2014 Indianapolis 500. The team won the 2013 Indianapolis 500 with Tony Kanaan at the wheel of the No. 11.
“Having Hydroxycut, a world class brand that’s been chosen by millions, back on board with us long term is the last piece of the puzzle for our assault on the 2014 championship,” said KVSH Racing partner James “Sulli” Sullivan. “All signs point to the fact that we are positioned for a banner year with Bourdais in the cockpit of the Hydroxycut Machine.”
KVSH unveiled the new livery No. 11 to the media at IndyCar’s annual Spring Training weekend, held this year at Barber Motorsports Park. The car has been dubbed the Hydroxycut Machine.
“I am so pumped to be driving the Hydroxycut Machine this season,” Bourdais said. “This team was No. 1 at the Indy 500 last year and now has primary sponsorship from the No. 1 selling weight loss supplement brand in the country. One thing is for sure, I certainly will not be overweight heading into the Verizon IndyCar season opener at St Petersburg.”
“Hydroxycut is proud to partner with proven winners KVSH Racing and Sebastien Bourdais. The ‘Hydroxycut Machine’ livery is fierce and commanding – fitting for the reigning Indy 500 champions,” said Vito Sanzone, chief marketing officer for Iovate Health Sciences – the makers of Hydroxycut.
The Hydroxycut Machine will campaign the 2014 IndyCar Series season opener at St. Petersburg, March 30 as well as: Barber Motorsports Park on April 27, Texas Motor Speedway on June 7; the Toronto double-header on July 19-20, and Sonoma Raceway on Aug. 24. In addition, Hydroxycut will serve as primary sponsor for the super-speedway events at Pocono Raceway, July 6 and the season finale at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., on, Aug. 30.
Mistic Electronic Cigarettes will be the primary sponsor for the seven remaining events in 2014 as well as the co-primary sponsor for the 2014 Indianapolis 500.
