Dozen Races For Midwest Sprints

HAUBSTADT, Ind. — The Midwest Sprint Car Series will host a 12-race schedule for 410 sprint-car racers beginning with the season opener at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway May 14.

In addition to the season opener, Lawrenceburg will also host the series Oct. 1. Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind., will host the series seven times beginning May 29.

Both venues will also host co-sanctioned USAC/MSCS events. The events, scheduled for Sept. 17 at Tri-State and Oct. 1 at Lawrenceburg, will pay $10,000 to the winner.

Paragon (Ind.) Speedway, Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Ind., and Bloomington (Ind.) Speedway will each host the series once during the 2011 season.
