Nine Races For NCRA Northern Mods
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. — Nine events at four venues highlight the 2011 schedule for the NCRA Modified North Series, which opens the season May 7 at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan.
The season lid lifter will take place May 7 at the first of four scheduled events at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan. The race will be held in conjunction with the third annual Showdown in the Heartland III, featuring the NCRA Late Model Series as they take on the MARS Late Model Series.
Then over Memorial Day weekend it will be a double header as the tour makes its second stop at 81 Speedway May 28 before making their first appearance since 1998 at Humboldt (Kan.) Speedway May 29.
A special Fathers Day event takes place June 19 at 81 Speedway as the tour joins forces with the NCRA’s other top divisions, late models and sprint cars. On July 3 the tour will celebrate the Independence Day weekend at 81 Speedway before heading out to the famed Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas for the 55th annual Hutchinson Grand Nationals July 15-16.
Labor Day weekend will see the annual trip to the Belleville (Kan.) High Banks in Belleville, Kansas Sept. 4 before the series completes the 2011 season at 81 Speedway Oct. 1.
