NSSN Debuts All New Website
HARRISBURG, N.C. — It won’t be the same old, same old. Guaranteed. Sometime in the next two weeks, when you log onto www.national-speedsportnews.com, you will be greeted with a completely redesigned, state-of-the-art, comprehensive website that will knock your socks off.
Yes, we’ve done this before. In fact, we’ve been through a number of websites the past few years and not been satisfied with any of them. They have all been lacking in a number of areas and we weren’t able to provide our web visitors with our usual high-quality, timely motorsports news.
Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting Joe Tripp, who worked at Speed on its website, and to make a long story short, Joe left Speed, had some business cards printed and took on National Speed Sport News as a client. He and his partners have been working on our project for months and are going to bring you everything you could possibly want in a site. Photo galleries, late-breaking news, community message boards, polls, standings, a race schedule calendar that is so clever you’ll bookmark the page. And more. Whether you’re a fan, a participant, a track owner, a sponsor, a vendor, you’ll find something to like.
You’ll get to know our staff and contributors better, and be able to easily communicate with them, as well as with like-minded fans and friends.
Current users with a user name and password will be able to log on as usual. Newcomers can sign up and join the NSSN community.
We didn’t make this decision lightly. The development has been challenging as the in-house staff has been much more involved than during other web projects. The end result will be well worth it.
We’ve wanted to supplement the print version of NSSN with a robust website for some time. The team on this has been working like they’ve got to run the alphabet at Knoxville to make the main. And make it they will.
