Snowbird Classic Set For Jan. 18-19

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. – The IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds are set to chase $1,250 top prizes each night of the Snowbird Classic at Arizona Speedway on Jan. 18-19.

Both Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events will start fields of 20 cars and pay a minimum of $100 to those who take the green flag. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded for each show.

Pit gates open at 3 p.m., the grandstand opens at 4 p.m. with the racing starting at 6 p.m. each night.

“The Snowbird Classic is drawing interest from drivers as far away as Canada,” noted promoter Jonah Trussel. “And the field of IMCA Modified talent on display is sure to be the richest Arizona Speedway has ever seen. Many of the top teams in the country will be in attendance.”
