UMP Modifieds Joining USAC At Ocala
OCALA, Fla. — The USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series will have company at Ocala Speedway in February.
Joining USAC at the three-eighths-mile clay oval Feb. 17-19 for the Bubba Army Sprint Nationals will be the UMP DIRTcar Modifieds, which will provide fans with three nights of doubleheader racing.
The first visit for USAC to Ocala Speedway will showcase the top open-wheel pilots in the nation and serve as the season opener for the series. Levi Jones will be looking to get off to a fast start as he chases his fifth series championship.
Damion Gardner started the 2010 campaign with back-to-back victories in the Bubba Army Sprint Nationals this year at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Fla. He will look to continue his success in Florida in 2011.
