Hampshire Keeps Rolling At Loretta Lynn
HURRICANE MILLS, Tenn. — The 33rd annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL continued Thursday at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.
R.J. Hampshire continued his hot start to the week by leading every lap of the second 250 A class moto of the week, running his running streak to four straight motos between the 250 A and Open Pro Sport classes.
Hampshire led Luke Renzland to the finish with Chris Alldredge third.
In 450 A, Alldredge took the Bell Holeshot over Renzland, who battled back to the front and took the victory with Alldredge finishing second.
Following a third-place finish in moto one, Benny Bloss has climbed back into contention in 450 B Limited with a moto victory on Thursday.
Tristan Charboneau won the 250 B class moto and Mitchell Falk won the Super Mini 1 moto.
Stilez Robertson took another step closer to a 2014 title with his first win in the 85 (9-11) class. Robertson’s Kawasaki teammate Garrett Marchbanks continued his perfect week in Mini Sr. (12-13) with his second moto victory.
In 51 (7-8) Limited, Nicholas Romano won his second consecutive moto, while Jaden Palmer won Moto 2 of the 51 (4-6) Limited class. Wyatt McGrath captured the 51 (4-6) Special Limited class. Aiden Eyler claimed victory in 51 (4-6) Shaft Drive Limited.
In Vet action, John Grewe topped the Senior (45+) class and Earl May won his second straight race in Masters (50+).
Kaitlyn Morrow captured the Women (14+) class victory and Hannah Hodges won her second consecutive moto in the Women (12-16) class. Jazzmyn Canfield topped the Women (9-13) class.
