National Guard Ups Supercross Partnership

AURORA, Ill. – Feld Motor Sports announced today that the Army National Guard has increased their sponsorship with the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, as the exclusive on-site military sponsor of the 2014 season that begins Jan. 4 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif.

“We are very excited to have grown our relationship with the Army National Guard for the up-coming season,“ said Dave Muye, Sr. Director Sponsorship & Strategic Alliances, Feld Entertainment.  “Their interactive footprint in the pits and color guard presentation to start the show are great additions to the fan experience.  We look forward to welcoming many current and future Army National Guard members to Monster Energy Supercross.”

During the 2013 season, the National Guard participated in four races, and 2014 marks their first year as a season-long partner of Monster Energy Supercross. The National Guard will have a large presence during the Pit Party and fans are encouraged to visit their interactive display.

The National Guard activation site will provide interactive opportunities for the fans to experience. It will include a pull up, sit up contest and the punching bag challenge. Each fan participating in the National Guard events will have the chance to receive “National Guard” giveaways. There will also be National Guard Recruiting Representatives on site to answer questions and explain the opportunities available to young men and women interested in serving their country as well as discuss National Guard college scholarships.
