Marquez On Top Again In France

LE MANS, France – Marc Marquez continued his domination of the MotoGP World Championship by leading both practice sessions Friday at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit.

Marquez quickened the pace in the afternoon sunshine, registering a 1:33.452 best time, which is under the fastest lap in a race at Le Mans set by Dani Pedrosa in 2011.

Behind Marquez in free practice two was the impressiveĀ Andrea Iannone for Pramac Racing. He was just .007 of a second behind Marquez whilst GO&FUN Honda Gresini riderĀ Alvaro Bautista was just over .2 of a second down.

Making up for a big crash in free practice one, Bradley Smith (Monster Yamaha Tech3) was fourth best whilst Marquez’s teammate Dani Pedrosa was fifth.

Following Marquez on the time sheets in the first practice were Pedrosa, Valentino Rossi, Bautista and Stefan Bradl.
