Pedrosa Steals Pole For Valencia Finale
VALENCIA, Spain – Dani Pedrosa will start the last MotoGP race of the season from the pole position after an impressive performance in qualifying Friday at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
Pedrosa set a track record with his impressive 1.30.844 lap, which gave him the pole position over Yamaha Factory Racing’s Jorge Lorenzo. Pedrosa’s Repsol Honda teammate Casey Stoner will start third.
Cal Crutchlow qualified his Yamaha fourth on the grid, ahead of LCR Honda MotoGP’s Stefan Bradl and his Monster Yamaha Tech 3 teammate Andrea Dovizioso.
Nicky Hayden qualified his Ducati seventh on the grid and will be joined on the third row by Alvaro Bautista (San Carlo Honda Gresini) and Hector Barbera (Pramac Racing Team). Power Electronics Aspar’s Aleix Espargaro, the top CRT qualifier, completes the top 10.
