MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – MX Sports Pro Racing and the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center renewed their long-time agreement that will see the AMMC at every Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship event.

To support this effort, MX Sports Pro Racing has announced a contribution of more than $110,000 to the AMMC for 2014.

The Asterisk Mobile Medical Center, and its dedicated staff, has been a mainstay at every Pro Motocross event for more than a decade, in providing on-site emergency medical services to professional motocross riders.

“We would like to thank MX Sports Pro Racing for their continued support and generous donation to enable the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center to be present at all 12 rounds of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship,” said Tom Carson, Asterisk’s Director of Motorsports and a former professional motocross racer. “MX Sports has supported us for the last fourteen years-since our inception-to ensure the best possible medical attention and rider safety.

“We have been partners from the beginning in making sure this level of care is a standard at all professional motocross races. We are excited for the season to be underway and look forward to more great racing like everyone witnessed at the Red Bull Glen Helen National opener.”

“Having the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center at each round of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship means our athletes and race teams know that they will have the best medical services available to them,” said Davey Coombs, President of MX Sports Pro Racing.

“Dr. John Bodnar, the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center’s Medical Director, and the rest of the doctors, trainers and nurses-and also, of course, Tom Carson, have long served the paddock and the race tracks.”
