DOVER, Del. – Kyle Busch is still perfect in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this year after a dominating victory in Friday’s Lucas Oil 200 at Dover Int’l Speedway.

Busch led 150 of the 200 laps, but bad timing during a green flag pit stop forced Busch to work his way back up to the lead midway through the race. Busch had just stopped in his pit box for a green flag pit stop on lap 76 when the caution flag waved for a crash on the frontstretch involving Brennan Newberry.

Eric Phillips, Busch’s crew chief, quickly told his team to abort the pit stop and sent Busch back out on track. That move kept Busch on the lead lap and in contention. Busch returned to pit road under caution for service and would restart seventh when the field returned to racing on lap 81.

With Busch stuck in traffic, Matt Crafton inherited the race lead. Crafton kept his ThorSport Racing Toyota up front until lap 121 when Busch caught and passed him to retake the race lead.

Busch continued to lead until the caution flag waved again with 67 laps left when Cole Custer ran out of gas on track and was unable to reach pit road. Busch was able to maintain the lead over Crafton during a series of pit stops under the caution flag.

Racing resumed on lap 139 with Busch in front of Crafton, but bad luck bit Crafton on lap 157 when he lost a tire and slammed into the turn two wall. The crash sent Crafton to the garage for the day, the first time since the season opener at Daytona Int’l Speedway in 2012 that Crafton failed to finish.
