MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Two qualifying sessions equaled two poles for Denny Hamlin Friday at Martinsville Speedway.

Within an hour of Hamlin’s fast qualifying lap in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series he scored the pole for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Kroger 200. His fast lap of 19.526 seconds at 96.489 mph gave him the top spot over spring Martinsville winner Johnny Sauter.

Hamlin will attempt to score his third Martinsville Truck victory on Saturday afternoon.

Darrell Wallace Jr. qualified third, followed by veteran Ron Hornaday Jr. and Ty Dillon. German Quiroga, James Buescher, Ross Chastain, Jeb Burton and Timothy Peters completed the top 10.

Jennifer Jo Cobb and Spencer Gallagher failed to qualify for the 36-truck field.
