MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Tyler Young will again contest a limited schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this year.
In addition to his limited Truck Series schedule, Young will again race in the Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series when his schedule allows.
Young will make his 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway on April 14 aboard the No. 02 Chevrolet. The team also plans to field a Truck for youngster Devin Jones at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on April 6.
“He’s a young racer who is running the UARA-STARS Late Model Series out of our race shop and we’re excited that he will be making his first start in the Truck Series for us at Martinsville,” Young said. “I will be back behind the wheel for Rockingham the following weekend.
“Whenever I’m not racing the Truck I’ll be running the Pro Cup car. Our plan right now is to have a car at all the races even if I’m not in it. I enjoy that series and this year with the higher purse the competition should be even tougher than last year. We’ll see how it all works out.”
