DOVER, Del. – Two down, one to go for Kyle Busch.

Fresh off a victory in Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Dover Int’l Speedway, Busch led 124 laps en route to winning Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series Buckle Up 200.

Busch had the best car for most of the day, but following a restart on lap 159 he began to struggle with a loose race car. Behind him Trevor Bayne, who was looking for his first victory of the year, began to close the gap.

With 20 laps left Bayne had closed the gap to within half a second and four laps later Bayne was right behind Busch as they worked through lapped traffic. Bayne wasn’t able to make a move on Busch, who slowly pulled back away from Bayne as they continued through traffic.

When the checkered flag waved Busch got to the finish line 1.005 seconds ahead of Bayne to earn the 66th Nationwide Series victory of his career.

“There towards the end it got really loose again. The last 30 or 40 laps there I was just holding on trying to hold those guys at bay,” Busch said. “Lapped traffic was kind of tough just the way they’d loosen your car up when you got to them.

“This Monster Energy Camry was pretty awesome. I didn’t think it was (at first), but it was.”
