Edwards Returns To ESPN’s SportsCenter
CONCORD, N.C. — For the third consecutive year Carl Edwards will be a guest commentator on SportsCenter following nine of the 10 NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase races in 2012.
Edwards will join Rusty Wallace and Ray Evernham from the ESPN Pit Studio for live post-race analysis on ESPN’s flagship news and information program.
“For the last couple of years I’ve really enjoyed going up to the pit studio after the races during the Chase and being able to let the viewers in on what was going on inside the race car in the race that just happened,” Edwards said. “It’s a lot of fun to go up there and be able to see a recap of the race instantly. It’s really educational for me as a driver to see it right away; although, I hope to miss a few because I’m in victory lane instead.”
