Logano Crashes, Keselowski Up To Front Row

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – A crash during NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice at Homestead-Miami Speedway Saturday has forced three drivers, including polesitter Joey Logano, to backup cars for Sunday’s season finale.

The crash, involving Greg Biffle, Denny Hamlin and Logano, at the exit of turns three and four. All three drivers will be forced to start from the rear in backup cars.

With Logano moving to the rear of the field, third-place starter and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship leader Brad Keselowski will move to the front row alongside Marcos Ambrose for Sunday’s Ford EcoBoost 400.

If Keselowski can lead a lap at the start of Sunday’s race, it will mean he only needs to finish 16th or better to claim the championship. Without leading a lap, he needs to finish 15th or better.
