LONG POND, Pa. – All on-track activity Friday at Pocono Raceway for the ARCA Racing Series and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series has been canceled due to a steady rain.

As a result, both ARCA and NASCAR will set the fields for their respective events for each series’ rulebook.

Jimmie Johnson will start from the pole for Sunday’s Party in the Poconos 400 because Johnson’s No. 48 Chevrolet is on top of the Sprint Cup Owner’s standings.

Carl Edwards will start second, followed by Clint Bowyer, Matt Kenseth and Kevin Harvick. Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, Paul Menard and Brad Keselowski completed the top 10.

No one will miss the race because there are only 43 cars at the track.

ARCA Racing Series point leader Frank Kimmel will start on the pole for Saturday’s Pocono ARCA 200 as he attempts to win his 79th career ARCA race, which would tie him with Iggy Katona for the series all-time win record.

Mason Mingus will start second, followed by Will Kimmel, Tom Hessert and Erik Jones. Justin Boston, Mason Mitchell, A.J. Henriksen, Milka Duno and Spencer Gallagher filled the top 10.

ARCA teams will get a 30 minute practice session to shake down their race cars beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning, otherwise Saturday’s schedule will not change.
