Brunnhoelzl Splits From Ideal Racing

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Three-time NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Champion George Brunnhoelzl III won’t drive for Ideal Racing in 2013.

Brunnhoelzl has driven for Ideal Racing and team owner Howard Harvey since the 2011 season, winning the last two Southern Modified championships to go along with his title in 2009.

However, with Harvey planning to retire from team ownership, Brunnhoelzl has decided to explore his options for 2013 and beyond.

“My time with Ideal Racing has been great I have enjoyed the relationships that were fostered with Howard and the Harvey family and wish them luck with their future endeavors, both in and out of racing,” said Brunnhoelzl. “At this time, with Howard’s retirement, it was mutually decided that Ideal Racing was no longer the right path for my career.”
